PT Racial Equity Challenge
Day 13: Words Matter

As we strive to improve conversations about race, racism, and racial equity, one of the fundamental tools we can use to help describe our identities, experiences, disparities, and inequities is language.

Language holds the power to unite or divide us, and to make the person/people to whom you are speaking feel accepted or rejected. To promote a welcoming and inclusive community, it is important that the language we utilize respects and honors different religions, abilities, backgrounds, and identities.
