The Peters Township Volunteer Fire Department has been serving the township and surrounding communities for over 70 years. Founded by community residents in 1937. Peters Township provides residents with fire protection from two fire station locations. Station #1 is located on E. McMurray Road and Station #2 is located off of Bebout and Sugar Camp Roads.
Peters Township Ambulance Service provides quality emergency care to our area operating three fully equipped ambulances that have been licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. We have approximately thirty paid and volunteer members of the ambulance service including Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians and office personnel. Emergency services are provided by trained and licensed Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians.
